Patrick Stewart(to the left) as Charles Xavier and Ian McKellen as Magneto
In an interview with Larry King, Patrick Stewart was asked that if he would be in the next installment of the X-Men series. He responded:
“No. Nor Sir Ian McKellen, either.”
He further stated:
“I was learning quite a lot more about it last night, and it is going to be looking very much at the earlier lives of all our characters. And so I don’t think we’ll be making an appearance.”
This doesn’t mean that they won’t be appearing in the movie as he states that he don’t thinks they will be makig an appearance.
Everyone who has seen ‘DAYS OF FUTURE PAST‘, might have noticed that the two of them weren’t making the big roles as their younger-selves were more featured and that gave them only some cameos. That trend seems to continue in the upcoming ‘APOCALYPSE’- movie.
‘X-MEN: APOCALYPSE‘ is scheduled to premiere on May 27, 2016.
