SERENA WILLIAMS WITHDRAWS FROM WTA FINALS IN SINGAPORE

Serena Williams has made public her intentions to withdraw from this year’s edition of WTA Finals in Singapore.

The tennisplayer says that she has pain in one of her elbows and that’s the reason behind her decision.

WTA Finals in Singapore starts on October 23 and there are 8 players divided into two groups of 4 each. The following players have secured their place into the tournament: Simona Halep, Angelique Kerber, Agnieszka Radwanska, Karolina Pliskova, Garbine Muguruza and Dominika Cibulkova.Two more players will fill the last spots this week. 

The stacks are high as the prize money reaches $7 000 000. The surface is hard.
