The Internet went nuts earlier this year when footage of the upcoming Sonic The Hedgehog Movie was released. The hedgehog’s design was ugly and fans demanded either a change or boycott.

New trailer has arrived and it features a better looking version of Sonic. I am unsure if it was Paramont’s strategy for them to gather BUZZ or HYPE around this project (the footage gathered over 2 million views in a couple of hours already) or if they were just lazy.

Either way, the villain – Dr Robotnik – is played by Jim Carrey and arrives in theaters February 14.
