I’m sure that most of you have not missed the ‘The Witcher’- series streaming now on Netflix. The first season was released on December 20 and a second season is confirmed.
The show is based on the book series of the same name by Polish writer Andrzej Sapkowski and stars Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia.
There’s also a game series based on the same works and the last title (until now, at least) is The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – an open world RPG with plenty to explore. PC, Xbox One and PS4 got it. Even a Switch version was released not long ago: October last year.
What has now happened, is that this game has broken its record, as the earlier concurrent player peak was 92,268, set shortly after the game’s launch (2015) on Steam alone. According to the source below, these numbers have seen a boost and just today, a new record was set: 101,133 simultaneous players.

P.S
If you plan buying the game, I recomand the GOTY- edition. It includes 2 expansions and those add more hours to the experience. Definately worth it.
