It’s been a great launch for the latest Sony-owned PS4-exclusive ‘Ghost of Tsushima’, outselling ‘Bloodborne’, ‘Days Gone’ and ‘Knack’ in terms of initial sales – over 2.4 million copies in the first three days, making it PS4’s fastest selling first-party original IP debut.
And there’s more:
‘Ghost of Tsushima’ has gained the prestigious honour of receiving a perfect score of 40 out of 40 from Famitsu, becoming only the third-ever western game to do so.
The sales numbers in Japan were great aswell.
And the news released today has the Internet overjoyed: ‘Legends’ is a free online co-op experience for up to four players – inspired by Japanese folk tales and mythology.
It’s described as a new experience that focuses on four warriors who have been built up as legends in stories told by the people of Tsushima and will not feature Jin or his companions.
It will be made available to owners of the PS4- exclusive this Fall. You’ll need PS+ to download and play with friends or via online matchmaking in a series of two-player story missions or four-player wave-based survival missions. Choose from one of four classes — Samurai, Hunter, Ronin, or Assassin
