After forced to announce a next-gen budget edition of its Xbox Series X (officially titled Xbox Series S) because of a leak , we have been given more insight into Microsoft’s long awaited project.

The Xbox Series S is less powerful than Series X but will be able to offer next-gen features such as fast load times, high frame rates and real-time ray-tracing. It’s also smaller, just check the pic above (it’s the one to the left, duh!).

The launch date is set for November 10th and you’ll be able to pre-order it from September 22nd (just eleven days from now).

As announced (below) Xbox Series X is priced at $499 (£449) and Xbox Series S costs $299 (£249).
