S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 is the forth installment in the series and was originally announced in 2010. It seems that development has ceased and that the game was canceled 2012 but it resumed 2018.

This teaser represents “how the game actually feels: fast-paced change of scenery, ominous landscapes and the ever-present feeling of an inevitable danger accompanied by a barely-distinguishable guitar soundtrack.” (as developer – GSC Game World – describes it).

Aiming for a 2021 release on Xbox Series X|S (day one on Xbox Game Pass) and PC.
