The Boys is set in a universe where superpowered people are recognized as heroes by the general public and owned by powerful corporation Vought International, which ensures that they are aggressively marketed and monetized. Outside of their heroic personas, most are arrogant and corrupt. The series primarily focuses on two groups: the titular Boys, vigilantes looking to keep the corrupted heroes under control, and the Seven, Vought International’s premier superhero team. The Boys are led by Billy Butcher, who despises all superpowered people, and the Seven are led by the egotistical and unstable Homelander. As a conflict ensues between the two groups, the series also follows the new members of each team: Hugh “Hughie” Campbell of the Boys, who joins the vigilantes after his girlfriend is killed in a high speed collision by the Seven’s A-Train, and Annie January / Starlight of the Seven, a young and hopeful heroine forced to face the truth about the heroes she admires.
The Boys is back on Amazon Prime sometime in 2020.

About The Expanse Seasons 4:
Season 4 of The Expanse, its first as a global Amazon Original, begins a new chapter for the series with the crew of the Rocinante on a mission from the U.N. to explore new worlds beyond the Ring Gate. Humanity has been given access to thousands of Earth-like planets which has created a land rush and furthered tensions between the opposing nations of Earth, Mars and the Belt. Ilus is the first of these planets, one rich with natural resources but also marked by the ruins of a long dead alien civilization. While Earthers, Martians and Belters maneuver to colonize Ilus and its natural resources, these early explorers don’t understand this new world and are unaware of the larger dangers that await them.

We have been treated with a lot of qulity superhero- productions for the last decade. From Marvel’s MCU to DC’s Arrowverse we have laughted, cried and cheered with our favorite characters from the different universes.
Amazon is heavy locking on being a relevant and up-to-date contender in the legal streaming wars. THE BOYS culd very well become the next thing just as THE UMBRELLA ACADEMY(Netflix) or AMERICAN GODS(Starz).
The series is a tale on how it goes when superheroes don’t abuse their powers and how the powerless take on such powerfull characters.

Amazon recently passed a $1 trillion market cap, but what makes it different from its competitors? In part, it’s data. This includes a paid sponsored promotion which had no part in the writing, editing, or production of the rest of the video.

TheOneRing.net, the leading web site for all things LOTR & Tolkien claim that various unnamed sources report that Amazon’s Lord of the Rings series will focus on an younger Aragorn.
With a budget of 1$ billion and tied to make it into a 5 seasons long series, lots of source material from J.R.R. Tolkien adds background to the characters of Middle-Earth and more interesting stories can be filmed and shared to the audience.
The movies were spectacular and given the budget and amount of facts, places, characters and such, the series may become something Tolkien fans would love and/or compare it to Peter Jackson’s beloved trilogy.
During the last week, there has been rumor that the very same Peter Jackson could be involved in the series.
Also a while ago, Sir Ian McKellen, who plays Gandalf in the movies, has expressed his desire to portray the wizard in the upcoming series as well.
I haven’t read none of the books about Middle-Earth, but my knowledge is in the movies. Therefore, I believe Legolas may appear in the series aswelll. At the end of the third Hobbit movie, the elf prince’s father, the king, tells his son – Legolas – to seek the heir of Gondor’s throne, although according to the source material, Aragorn would not yet be born at the end of the Battle of the Five Armies.
Stay tunned as more info will emerge.
