DualSense is the next generation PlayStation controller – introduced with the PlayStation 5.

It has some cool features, building upon the DualShock- series and evolving the experince by introducing haptic feedback and adaptive-resistance triggers. Basically, you’ll get more accurate feedback and an immersive in-game feeling with vibrations more vivid and triggers making you “truly feel the tension of your actions, like when drawing a bow to shoot an arrow.” ( PlayStation platform boss Hideaki Nishino wrote in a blog post)

The original DualSense comes mainly in white mixed with some black, as seen in the pic above.

We all love it, but you know by now how it all works these days. The Internet is craving for more, rumors are starting, growing and spreading and a lot of creative people are trowing togheter own designs and mockups.

A black version of the DualSense is needed IMO. Pictures are now surfacing/leaking and I just hope it will happen. If not yet, sometime (not too far in time from now) at the very least. Check ’em out:

GADGETS: THE BROKEN GALAXY FOLDS: EXPLAINED

Samsung Galaxy Fold

You might have heard different tech reviewers posting pics and videos of broken GALAXY FOLDS after just one to two days of testing. However it seems that the gadget is NOT as bad produced as one may think.

The following video clear things out:

To sum it up, there are two things that can lead to breking your Fold:
* The outer layer on the screen looks like protection but IT’S NOT! It’s a part of the screen. Peeling it off will lead to damages to the main screen and make it go completely black within hours.
* Dust cornes might get in between the layers of the main screen and IT WILL cause damages.

Samsung have been kind and understanding to these people that have been sent review units and have sent new devices. The company will also state clearly and with bigger- sized warning message to let customers know NOT TO mess with the outer layer.

The Samsung Galaxy Fold release date is April 26 in the US and May 3 in Europe.

GADGET: WHY GOOGLE GLASS FAILED [VIDEO]

Once hyped and on its way to become the next big THING in tech, it failed. The masses have not heard news about the product in at least 2 to 3 years.

One main reason to why it’s overlooked could be the rise of AR and VR. Holo Lens, Occulus are paving the way to the future. The door IS NOT Google Glasses.

I know not a single person who at least tested the gadget. Myself have been fooling around a lil’ bit Gear VR (Samsung’s VR set) and also know a couple of people who’ve tried out Holo Lens and Occulus.

Becoming in demand by the market is crucial and the way there isn’t easy. Google Glasses was hyped at first but failed to deliver. There was no REAL NEED.

Now it remains to see if it only was a flop OR if the product was ahead of its time.

MY THOUGHTS ON SAMSUNG GEAR VR

I would like to mention that I’ve never before had any VR experience. My encounter with the Gear VR was the first.

I have been sceptical about VR, failing to see the possibilities and mostly because I’ve been focusing on gaming, and there aren’t a lot of full fledged games to choose. Resident Evil 7 on PSVR was the only full AAA- game available for the VR fanatics. Dirt Rally also got an update which allows players to gear up their VR headsets (PSVR) and hit the road.

But what I know think has the brightest future are videos and movies. The demo that I tested in the Samsung store was showcasing the Earth from space. I was instantly taken away from this reality and thrown into another. It was amazing.

The Gear VR uses Samsung mobiles in order to render the visuals and is also using the phone battery to charge up.

A representative told me that there is a store for videos, games and everything VR related. I found this site: https://www.oculus.com/experiences/gear-vr/, but I will return to the store for more info. He also told me that there are full movies that are being produced for the gadget and that Netflix has started to support it.

I also saw the Gear 360, which is a camera that records videos in 360 degreees. I saw some of these(videos) on Youtube, but failed to recognize the magic behind. Gear VR has a tag price of $150 or 150 EUR and the camera costs $350 or 350 EUR.

For what is worth it, you should at least try it if you have the possibility to. The price tag is within reach and most probably during fall or winter, I will start shooting my own 360 movies and upload them on Youtube. The Gear VR is a must and won’t hurt the wallet.

NOTE: 5/5
The 360 video of the Earth seen form space was amazing and I will remember the experience just as I remeber my first PC or my first PS2 console.
