The hype around CD Projekt Red’s sci-fi open-world title ‘CYBERPUNK 2077’ is evergrowing even though the title has been delayed three times already.
The initial launch date was planned for April 16th, then pushed to September 17th, announced to be on track for November 19th and now scheduled to December 10th. There are however players that doubt it will be released this year at all.
Planned for PC, current- and next-gen consoles, today we’re finally getting footage of the game running on consoles (Xbox One X and Xbox Series X in this video). It is the first time we get a showcase on how it looks on consoles, so you should definately check it out!
Coming to Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, and Google Stadia on December 10th, 2020. The game will also be playable on Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 consoles when available though backwards compatibility and a free next-gen upgrade will [probably] arrive in a couple of months.
Post-launch content will support the game through both free and purchasable content such as DLC.
Don’t miss this one, the guys are putting it to test and…. heck it can even cut through steel!
You should check out their YouTube channel, they’ve made some CRAZY stuff during the years, like Wolverine’s bone claws, Iron Man Plasma Glove, and Helmet (WITH DISPLAY!!!), Thor’s Hammer and lots of other fun projects.
A working (and RETRACTABLE!!!) light saber has always been a dream, ever sice the concept was introduced by George Lucas in 1977’s film ‘Star Wars’ (now titled ‘Star Wars: A New Hope’ or ‘Episode IV’).
Up until now there has been, as we know it, no one able to pull it off. But just like its inspiration, there’s ‘A New Hope’ (pun intended).
Not just that they’ve been working it out, it results in being able to produce a blue lightsaber, a green lighsaber, a red lightsaber, an ember lightsaber and even a yellow lightsaber. In the ‘Star Wars’ universe these are made of lightsaber crystals also known as kyber crystals. And all colors are supposed to have different meanings
This is rocket science and beyond my knowledge, so I’ll let these guys explain it to you.
The next epic sci-fi adventure is ‘Dune’. Based on the classic work with the same name, written by Frank Herbert, it follows a brilliant and gifted young man – Paul Atreides (played by Timothée Chalamet) – destined for greatness.
It has a STELLAR CAST with Jason Momoa (‘Game of Thrones’) , Josh Brolin (‘Avengers’), Dave Bautista (‘Guardians of the Galaxy’), Oscar Isaac (the ‘Star Wars’- sequels), Stellan Skarsgård (‘Chernobyl’), Rebecca Ferguson (‘Mission Impossible: Fallout’) and Zendaya (the new ‘Spider-Man’- trilogy).
‘Cyberpunk 2077’ “is an open-world, action-adventure story set in Night City, a megalopolis obsessed with power, glamour and body modification. You play as V, a mercenary outlaw going after a one-of-a-kind implant that is the key to immortality.“.
This is CD Projekt RED’s (‘The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt’) next game and slated for a November 19th release after being delayed twice. To make the wait easier for us, the developers has given us great glimpses into what to expect.
The official Youtube channel has published some great videos and you should check out the ‘Night City Wire’- playlist where these [great] moments are revealed. Camera hacking, utilising detective skills, weapons to wield, lifepaths you can choose etc are all being showcased.
Two parts have been released, the second just days ago and here they are!
STAY INFORMED: It’s official that if you get the PS4- or the Xbox One- version, you’ll be able to play it on the next-gen consoles on launch day. The plans do not stop there, however. They will “release an upgrade to Cyberpunk 2077, which will take full advantage of the next-gen hardware“, announced “at a later date“.
‘Cyberpunk 2077’ is an open-world, action-adventure story supposed to arrive on September 17th but was unfortunately pushed back to November 19th and here’s why.
It’s developed by ‘The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt’- makers, CD Projekt Red, and both HYPE and expectations are ROCKETING with every single piece of news or video making its way to the world wide web.
A brand new trailer was released almost a week ago, followed by a 20-minutes long gameplay demo just days later.
The game is set in Night City, a megalopolis obsessed with power, glamour and body modification. You play as V, a mercenary outlaw going after a one-of-a-kind implant that is the key to immortality. You can customize your character’s cyberware, skillset and playstyle, and explore a vast city where the choices you make shape the story and the world around you.
The new trailer is showcasing the world, characters, story, and action:
The gameplay video is worth checking out, a lot of the things going on here are jaw- dropping:
Coming to Xbox One, PS4 and PC November 19th, 2020.
Jon Landau is the producer helming the production of the ‘Avatar’- sequels. He has been working under James Cameron’s (writer and director) supervision in the past with: ‘Titanic’, ‘Alita: Battle Angel’ and the first ‘Avatar’ film.
The production for the upcoming films of the franchise (there will be FOUR more!) has been put on hold because of the virus around the world, but the same Jon has published an Instagram post that reveals it will resume next week.
Christopher Nolan is the mastermind behind ‘The Dark Knight’- trilogy, ‘Inception’ and ‘Interstellar’.
He is accredited to be both writer and the director of ‘Tenet’- a project that seems to contain elements of espionage mixed with sci-fi; such as bending time.
I am a fan of his works and I’m pretty confident to state that I’ve NEVER read a single post criticizing his works.
‘Tenet’ will arrive soon in theaters (do we dare to hope on July,17th?) and the plot summary on IMDb describes it as:
“Armed with only one word — Tenet — and fighting for the survival of the entire world, the Protagonist journeys through a twilight world of international espionage on a mission that will unfold in something beyond real time.”
John David Washington (picture at the top of the article) will play the main role. Glad to see Robert Pattinson (‘Twilight’, and the upcoming solo ‘Batman’- film) and Michael Caine (previously worked with Nolan in ‘The Dark Knight’- trilogy) on the cast list.
‘Observer: System Redux’ is a sci-fi horror next-gen remaster of ‘Observer’ – announced for PS5 and Xbox One. The game takes place in the future – 2084. In this future, anything you think, feel, or remember can be used against you in a court of law.
The trailer allows us to get a glimpse of the visuals of the next-gen consoles. The game will be out this holiday season.
