Naughty Dog’s Playstation-exclusive ‘The Last of Us Part II’ is out in just two weeks from now.
The game has been in development since 2014 and was officially announced during the Playstation Experince in December 2016 and confirmed to be a sequel to the original 2013 release. That trailer revealed the return of both Ellie and Joel.
Five years have passed since the first game and Ellie is now 19 years old, also the main character, who already in the first game was playable for some sections, though Joel (who should by now be in his mid-fifties) was the primary playable character.
‘The Last of Us Part 2’ has been delayed twice, first for further development and then due to logistical problems arising from the COVID-19 pandemic. The initial targeted date was February, 21st (2020) but pushed back and aimed for May 29th (2020).
No further delays will occur, so mark your calendars for June, 19th.
After months of speculations, nevertheless most intense in the past weeks, a PS5 reveal event was officially announced by Sony. It was scheduled for Thursday and a first look at the next generation Playstation games was confirmed.
However, due to the circumstances, it is now being postponed, as announced by Sony on Twitter:
THAT is the PlayStation 5 controller, titled DualSense, as presented yesterday on the PlayStation blog.
It’s still wireless and along the new features we’ll find “haptic feedback, which adds a variety of powerful sensations you’ll feel when you play, such as the slow grittiness of driving a car through mud. We also incorporated adaptive triggers into the L2 and R2 buttons of DualSense so you can truly feel the tension of your actions, like when drawing a bow to shoot an arrow.”
Strong battery life, lighter in weight, no “Share” button (implemented first by Sony in DualShock 4 – the PlayStation 4’s controller), but a new “Create” button feature that is “once again pioneering new ways for players to create epic gameplay content to share with the world, or just to enjoy for themselves. We’ll have more details on this feature as we get closer to launch.”
Built-in microphone array and ” a two-toned design. Additionally, we changed the position of the light bar that will give it an extra pop. On DualShock 4, it sat on the top of the controller; now it sits at each side of the touch pad, giving it a slightly larger look and feel.”.
Sony said that they went “through several concepts and hundreds of mockups over the last few years”
The reveal ends with a message from SIE President & CEO Jim Ryan to the community where he mentions that: ” I truly want to thank you for sharing this exciting journey with us as we head toward PS5’s launch in Holiday 2020.”.
No pricetag, a precise release date, console design nor launch line-up are known as of now and everything you’ll read regarding those around the web are merely speculations. There are online stores that have a price for pre-orders but remember that these are only placeholders. You’ll know the exact price when it’s official announced.
The next character in the Spider-Man universe to get a movie is Morbius.
Played by Jared Leto, the transformation seem to be appreciated by fans. Morbius, the Living Vampire is, much alike Venom, an anti-hero, initially introduced as a villain.
He first debuted in The Amazing Spider-Man #101 and it was the first issue of the series written by someone other than Stan Lee – instead created by writer Roy Thomas and originally designed by penciler Gil Kane. It was back in October 1971, after the same year’s lifted ban on vampires and certain other supernatural characters by the Comics Code Autorithy, which was decided in February 1971.
Morbius will be the second comic book portrayal for Jared Leto. The first one was the Joker in the DC Extended Universe.
Dangerously ill with a rare blood disorder, and determined to save others suffering his same fate, Dr. Morbius attempts a desperate gamble. What at first appears to be a radical success soon reveals itself to be a remedy potentially worse than the disease.
In US theaters July 31st.
We get a short glimpse of how he *REALLY* looks like in the vampire form. There’s also a brief cameo from a familiar character in the MCU. You SHOULD SEE THIS!!!
