‘THE DIVISION’ E3 2015 Extended Gameplay

I like this A LOT. I mean A LOT!

E3 2015 – Nintendo Roundup

E3 2015 – Nintendo Roundup

Microsoft came out and set a high standard, EA dropped slowed the tone a little bit. Ubisoft picked the pace up and then Sony took a page from Nintendo’s book and dropped bombs. It’s now the turn of Nintendo to put on a performance in the post Sony E3 2015 world.

Sadly it appears Sony took all the bombs, Nintendo’s presentation turning out be rather a poor showing.

It started off like last years to a comedic tone with Reggie, Iwata and Miyamoto starting the show off as puppets. They then transform to members of Team Star Fox and we are shown Star Fox Zero for Wii U. It’s a good start.

Next up we’re with Reggie (real Reggie not puppet Reggie) and he’s got an announcment with Activision that 2 new Amiibo figures are to be released that will be compatibile with Skylanders Super Chargers. These Amiibo will also…

With the big hitters out of the way, it’s time to roundup Square Enix’s E3 show.

We start the show with a trailer for  Just Cause 3..

Phil Rogers CEO Square Enix then takes the stage and  talks of the journey Square Enix have been on and gives a little tease of what to expect for the show.

Then Roland Lesterlin from Avalanche Studios comes on to talk about Just Cause 3. Avalanche pride themselves on the huge open world – 400sq miles, that let’s you do what you want, when you want. Expect new features  like the wing suit, upgraded parachute & grapple hook. Just Cause 3 will release 1st December 2015.

It looks mental and a lot of fun.

Yosuke Saito from Business Division 6 gives a sneak peak at Nier a PS4 exclusive.

Further updates on the game in Autumn this year.

E3 2015 – PC Gaming Roundup

Late last night we got another press show and this time it was the PC gaming show. Although we didn’t watch the show, we’ve been scouring the net for all the information that was talked about, here is a roundup of the show.

Brian Hicks dropped by to talk about DayZ and the progress of the game – which is still in early access after a year and a half…

He mentioned that there will be the introduction of new vehicles and all the resources needed to repair and look after them. He also mentioned that DayZ will see a single player version come to the game, where players will be able to play offline that will allow modders to test out their custom content.

They also said that they will be fully embracing the Steam Workshop. Source.

Phil Spencer also made an appearance. He started off by acknowledging that…

E3 2015 – Bethesda Roundup

E3 2015 – Bethesda Roundup

So here we are. Post Betheada show, their first ever one and wow what a show it was.

Pete Hines takes to the stage to start things off, he gives a nice intro to the show, and then introduces Marty Stratton to the stage to show off the first ever gameplay of Doom.

I don’t remember the last time I heard crowd reactions like that, especially to executions… It looks awesome though doesn’t it!

Doom is being built on the id tech 6 engine and it’s looking fantastic.

Marty then talks a little bit about the Doom multiplayer which will feature arena style combat and game modes such as domination, freeze tag, annihilation. But there was no mention of beta.

But the Doom awesome doesn’t stop there. No, no. Next we are shown Doom Snapmap which gives players access to create any kind of content they want within the Doom world.

Next up we get to hear about the new Need for speed with a new trailer.

I think it looks like a return to the street racing style of the older Underground games, which I’m on board with.

Marcus Nilsson talks a little about the game to. Set in  Ventura bay,  it’s x2 rivals and has the richest customisation ever – authentic brands. 5 overlapping stories – Speed, Style, Build, Crew and Outlaw combine to create the perfect NFS moments. Specialize in one or switch between to become ultimate icon
