This is a reminder that ‘Total War Saga: Troy’ has just been released today. As reported a couple of weeks ago it’s up for grabs for free on the Epic Games Store, today only, so hurry up!
There is no catch other than you’ll need to install the client and create a free account with which you can then add it to your library and install it on your computer.
The ‘Total War’- franchise is popular for its epic battles, you could fit tens of thousands of troops at once, depending on your specs.

Epic Games Store has had a strong line-up of free games for us since its launch. Grand Theft Auto V (The Premium Edition – all DLCs and online mode included), Civilization 6 and you can grab Borderlands: The Handsome Collection for free right now. Most strategy gamers are familiar with the ‘Total War’- franchise, that first started with ‘Shogun: Total War’ 20-years ago (released June, 13th 2000) and has seen 13 different titles, the latest: ‘Total War: Three Kingdoms’, arrived May, 23rd 2019. At least 30(!) expansions have been added to the core experiences during these years.
The next title is ‘A Total War Saga: TROY’, where players will build a bronze age empire and experience the legendary Trojan war from both the Greek and Trojan perspective, figthing alongside mythic units such as the Minotaur, cyclops and others.
